JOINT MANIPULATION

Joint manipulation is a hands-on manual therapy technique used by Myotherapists to improve joint mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. Unlike joint mobilisation, joint manipulation involves a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust applied to a specific joint to improve its range of motion. The technique is often accompanied by a popping or cracking sound, which is thought to be caused by the release of gases from the joint. Joint manipulation is commonly used to treat conditions such as neck pain, back pain, and joint dysfunction. The technique is often combined with other forms of therapy, such as exercise and stretching, to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for the patient.

As well as one off sessions, we also offer Myotherapy block sessions packages. These are designed to provide you with a cost-effective and convenient way to receive the Myotherapy treatment you need. Our block sessions packages come in blocks of five or ten sessions and are perfect for those who require ongoing treatment or have chronic conditions that require regular management.
